First, let's talk about Pre-Workout...
My favorite pre-workout is C4 from Cellucor. I take this right before my lifting sessions to give me extra energy, focus, and concentration. Now let's talk about BCAAs...
BCAAs are branched chained amino acids. They are made up of leucine, isoleucine, and valine (um WHAT!?). They are essential because the body is unable to make them through other amino acids - they must be consumed through food and/or supplements.
A BCAA supplement may be beneficial for athletes because the more BCAA present in your muscles, the more they are used for ENERGY. BCAAs also slow the breakdown of muscle cells which prevents muscle loss. They are great for recovery! I drink BCAAs 1-2 times a day.
