OMG so many questions! Food has become SOOOOO dang complicated when it doesn't have to be! The average person who wants to be fit and healthy does NOT need to weigh food or count calories. You CAN eat intuitively by LISTENING to your body while still reaching your goals.
How is it possible? Well, you need to DITCH the diet mentality. Say goodbye to diet culture. Stop buying into fad diets that DON'T WORK LONG TERM.
You do not need to eat fish and kale every day to reach your goals. And like, ew who wants that EVERY DAY? Seriously.
Taylor and I live-streamed on my Facebook page about her experience with different diets. She was a bikini competitor and she was NOT HAPPY with the diet she was on - physically or mentally. It messed up her body AND her emotions. So many people think it needs to be fish and broccoli all day. It doesn't. You do not need to take it to the extreme.
When you restrict yourself so much, it can lead to binging. Your body wants and needs to be nourished. And when you starve it, and then you are exposed to an "unhealthy" or "forbidden food" you go crazy and eat way more than you desire. That's because your body was deprived of it so much. Then you just feel guilty for eating all of that food and the cycle continues.
So how do you eat intuitively while reaching your goals? Here are some tips:
Food does not need to be extreme. You do not need to go on any crazy diet plan to reach your goals. If you just want to be healthy and fit, it's about balance and consistency. THAT is what will get you there.
